The building is situated in front of a small park in an expansion area of the
town, a low density area with buildings with one or
two floors builded at the
time of developmentalism. Regulations allows now
buildings with four floors
with a considerable increase in density, the small
size of the plot
(approximately 150 m2) make the project draining the
allowed floor area to
accommodate the program presented by the promoter-builder
We make two types of apartemnts with the same scheme:
dinning-living-kitchen and two bedrooms. It
optimizes its 56 m2 of each type
by eliminating corridors and with the maximum
use of light with large
obertures at two facades facing the park.
Its intended
from the beginning to break the chamfer by the versatility of
forms that outer metal skin of sliding sunscreens allows us.
We also try
from the beginning of the project that the building systems are
simple to use and easily identifiable by the staff
of the work as this was their
first housing development.
